UNITED THEY STAND: The AP noted MLS DC United and Serie A club Inter Milan are forming a "strategic partnership" with the clubs "now having the same owner." MAN UP: ESPN FC's Richard Jolly notes EPL club Manchester United Exec Vice Chair Ed Woodward "believes the Glazers' ownership of the club will be remembered more fondly in the future." Woodward said that the club "should have communicated better with their supporters to address their concerns about the debt the American family lumped on the club." Jolly notes ManU's "financial position is healthier with turnover" of $589M (all figures U.S.) last season, and is "forecast to rise" by $98-115M this year.
