Final Ratings: F1 U.S. GP Audience Up; Pats-Panthers Marks Best "MNF" In Spanish

NBC drew a 0.7 rating and 1.01 million viewers for the F1 U.S. Grand Prix last Sunday. That figure is up from the inaugural race at Circuit of the Americas last season, when Speed drew a 0.4 rating and 688,000 viewers. NBC also had numerous local market news preemptions during the race in order to cover the severe weather occurring in the Midwest. Austin topped all markets with a 6.9 local rating, followed by Greensboro (1.9) and San Diego (1.7). NBC is averaging 1.15 million viewers for three F1 telecasts this season to date, up 11% compared to Fox' four-race average last season (NBC).

NOTES
: FS1 drew 998,000 viewers for the UFC 167 prelims last Saturday, marking the net's best UFC prelims audience to date and sixth-best audience for the net since it launched in August (THE DAILY)....ESPN Deportes averaged 157,000 Hispanic viewers for Patriots-Panthers on Monday, marking the net's most-viewed "MNF" telecast ever. Patriots-Panthers beat out last season's Bears-Cowboys on Oct. 1, which drew 119,000 Hispanic viewers (ESPN).
