NHL Launching Animated Holiday Campaign Promoting Its Online Marketplace

The NHL on Friday announced that Shop.NHL.com will feature its products in an animated holiday workshop as part of a new national campaign. The 30-second national TV spot, including the league's first venture into animation, will debut during CBC's "Hockey Night in Canada" broadcast of the Capitals-Maple Leafs game Saturday at 7:00pm ET. Multiple teams and products from NHL partners including Reebok, Bleacher Creatures, Ty (Beanie Ballz) and Forever Collectibles (Sock Monkeys) are featured in the ad. The creative was developed by the NHL with input and animation production by N.Y.-based agency My Active Driveway. The campaign will run in the U.S. and Canada during NHL game broadcasts and shoulder programming (NHL).
