NBA D-League Renews Deal To Stream More Than 350 Live Games On YouTube
The NBA D-League has renewed its deal with YouTube for the live streaming of more than 350 games this season. Viewers will access the streams on the NBA D-League YouTube Channel, which will also include additional content, including nightly highlights and player features. D-League games on the league’s YouTube channel will also be accessible through all of the league’s 17 team websites. Financial terms of the one-year deal were not disclosed. However, Google last year paid the NBA a rights fee in the low six figures to stream the D-League games. The D-League season begins on Nov. 22.
