76ers Hire Dan Hauser To Oversee Sponsorship Initiatives, Add To Sales Staff

The 76ers yesterday named former Palace Sports & Entertainment Exec VP DAN HAUSER Senior VP/Corporate Partnerships, effective immediately. Hauser will oversee all sponsorship initiatives, including strategy and new business, as well as the team’s TV and radio partnerships. He will report to Chief Revenue Officer CHRIS HECK (76ers). SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's John Lombardo reports the Sixers have "quadrupled the size of their sales staff and made several veteran hires for their executive ranks." The moves follow the departure of Senior VP/Corporate Partnership & Broadcasting TOM WARD, who was hired last year. Also "hired in the past month" are Senior Dir of Corporate Partnerships OWEN MORIN, Senior Dir of Ticket Sales JAKE REYNOLDS, Ticket Sales Manager BRIAN NORMAN and Dir of Partnership Marketing KATIE GROSSMAN. All are "new jobs, as is Heck’s position," and each of the new execs "reports to Heck" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 9/16 issue).
