"League Of Their Own" Tops "42" As Highest-Grossing Baseball Film At Box Office

The Jackie Robinson biopic “42” is being released on DVD today, and the film’s $94.9M box office take ranks it second among baseball films, according to data from BoxOfficeMojo.com. The top film remains “A League Of Their Own,” which earned $107.5M for its run in ’92. “42” also topped the $75.6M earned by “Moneyball,” which was released in ’11.
