Running Club: MLB Once Again To Hold 5K Run As Part Of All-Star Game Weekend

MLB will hold its fourth All-Star Game 5K & Fun Run on July 13 at Prospect Park in Brooklyn as part of its All-Star festivities in N.Y. The run, previously held in '09, '10 and then last year, will benefit Superstorm Sandy Relief. The event will be operated with the aid of N.Y. Road Runners, organizers of the ING N.Y. Marathon, and be presented by Nike. The previous three iterations of the run were held on the Sunday prior to the All-Star Game itself, but this year's event will be held on a Saturday for logistical reasons.
