Execs Feel More Media Coverage, Int'l Stars Would Have Biggest Impact On MLS

Sports execs feel additional coverage from the media and more int’l stars would have the biggest impact on MLS’ popularity, according to a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted in February. Thirty-three percent of execs felt more media coverage would have the biggest impact, while 28% said more int’l stars and 19% said 10 more years of league existence. Meanwhile, execs also were asked about FIFA President Sepp Blatter’s recent critical comments toward MLS. Fifty-two percent of sports execs agreed with Blatter, while 43% disagreed (Turnkey).
