Overnight Ratings: ESPN Sees Uptick For First Two Games Of College Bowl Season

College bowl season got underway this past weekend, and ESPN saw upticks in overnight ratings for both of the games on Saturday. The net earned a 1.9 overnight for Arizona’s come-from-behind win over Nevada in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl from 1:00-4:45pm ET, up 19% from a 1.6 rating for the Temple-Wyoming matchup last year. ESPN also earned a 1.8 overnight for the Utah State-Toledo Famous Idaho Potato Bowl from 4:45-8:00pm, up slightly from a 1.7 rating last year for the Ohio-Utah State matchup.
