Sports Execs Feel Multi-Channel Distribution Is Best Way For Nets To Challenge ESPN

Sports execs feel that outside of securing rights for sports properties, creating multi-channel distribution (TV, web, mobile, etc.) should be the top priority for a sports media outlet aiming to challenge ESPN in the U.S., according to a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted in October. Thirty-nine percent of execs polled said multi-channel distribution was the top priority, while 27% said engaging 18-34 year-old males and 22% said original content (Turnkey Sports).
