Multiple sports organizations and individuals have announced donations to the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The following non-comprehensive list highlights some of notable donations to the recovery efforts from the sports world.

| Yankees: Donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross. Also collecting donations at Yankee Stadium. |
| Giants: Donated $500,000 to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. Also hosted a food drive at MetLife Stadium on Nov. 4; fans donated 38,000 pounds of food and more than $18,000. |

| Madison Square Garden: Donated $500,000 and is hosting a telethon on the MSG Network during Friday's Knicks-Mavericks game. Proceeds will go to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City and the American Red Cross. The arena also will host a benefit concert Dec. 12. The concert is being organized by the same organization that put together the Concert For New York City following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. |

| Predators, Blues: Hosting a charity alumni game at A-Game Sportsplex in Franklin, Tenn. on Nov. 10. Proceeds will go to Hurricane Sandy relief and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. |
| A's: The team's community fund is accepting monetary donations and sending proceeds to The Salvation Army and the Humane Society. |
