Overnight Ratings: NBC's Tour Championship Final Round Up 57%

NBC earned a 2.2 overnight for the final round of the PGA Tour Championship yesterday from 1:30-6:00pm ET, up 57% from the final round last year. Brandt Snedeker won the event and the overall FedEx Cup Playoffs. Tiger Woods finished tied for eighth yesterday (did not play last two years), while Rory McIlroy dropped off yesterday to finish tied for 10th.  ESPN also finished with a 2.2 overnight for the NASCAR’s Sylvania 300, the second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. That figure is down 8% from the same race last year. Meanwhile, Fox earned a 1.0 overnight for the net's first tape-delayed EPL telecast this season. The Manchester United-Arsenal match, which aired live earlier on Sunday, was shown on Fox primarily following early coverage of NFL games.
