Golfer Sean O'Hair Heads Back To IMG For Representation After Leaving In May

Golfer Sean O’Hair, who temporarily left IMG in May, is back. IMG issued a release today saying that O’Hair, a four-time winner on the PGA Tour, has returned and will be represented by the team of IMG Golf Senior VP & Managing Dir of the Americas Clarke Jones in Cleveland and IMG Golf Dir of Operations Kevin Hopkins in N.Y. Jones said, “We are thrilled to welcome Sean back into the IMG Golf family and look forward to managing Sean’s career both on and off the golf course." O'Hair said, "Over the past few months I had been reviewing my management options, but learned that IMG was and continues to be the best fit for me. I look forward to turning the page and enjoying continued success with IMG.” O’Hair originally left IMG in May when agent Jon Wagner departed to start his own agency, but an ensuing legal battle determined that Wagner’s non-compete clause prohibited him from signing O’Hair.
