Golf Channel Sets Network Record With Distribution In 84.8 Million Homes

Golf Channel is in 84.8 million U.S. homes in June, setting a record for the network for the second straight month. During the same period last year, the network was in 83.8 million homes. Three sports nets -- NBA TV, Speed and NBC Sports Network -- rank in the top 10 among all cable TV networks in terms of percentage gain in U.S. household distribution since the start of the year. NBA TV has seen a 7.1% increase since the start of year, tops among sports networks and sixth among all cable TV nets. ESPN is in 99.0 million U.S. homes in June, tops among sports nets, but down from 100.1 million homes during the same period last year. Listed below are the top 10 cable TV networks in terms of U.S. distribution during the month of June, with comparisons to the same period in previous years. Also listed are similar figures for cable TV sports networks.
