Comcast SportsNet Draw Record Traffic To Websites During Last Week Of April

Comcast SportsNet posted a company-record 2.67 million combined visits and a combined 6.2 million visits for its local websites during the week of April 23-29, according to internal data. The totals, driven in part by news related to the NFL Draft and NBA and Stanley Cup Playoffs, narrowly beat out company records set last July at the MLB trade deadline. CSN also posted a record month in April with a combined total of 10 million visits and 21.9 page views, according to internal data. "We made a big investment in our local digital strategy, and we're seeing real traction against it," said Comcast Sports Group Exec VP & Chief Digital Officer Eric Grilly. "When you add in what's also happening on our national (NBC Sports) platforms, and our ([owned-and-operated) stations, there's a lot of collective momentum."
