Execs Feel Replacement For Fenway Park Is Either Many Years Off Or Not Happening

Sports execs feel that any replacement venue for Fenway Park would not happen for many years, if at all, according to results from a Turnkey Sports Poll conducted in March. Thirty-five percent of execs said that the venue will never be replaced. Twenty-nine percent felt that any new Boston ballpark would not be built until more than 20 years from now, while 20% felt it could happen in the next 11-20 years. There was also a close split on wich is the more iconic ballpark -- Fenway or Wrigley Field. Fifty-percent of execs said Fenway while 46% said Wrigley (Turnkey Sports Poll).
