Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski Signs Two-Year Sponsorship Deal With Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski in which the All Pro will “pitch Dunkin' Donuts’ products, make appearances and appear in radio and television spots for the company,” according to Lisa van der Pool of the BOSTON BUSINESS JOURNAL. The chain said that Gronkowski will also be “featured in future social media efforts” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 3/27). In Boston, Chris Reidy noted current or former Patriots QB Tom Brady, WR Wes Welker, LB Tedy Bruschi and K Adam Vinatieri have “previously endorsed Dunkin’” (BOSTON.com, 3/27). PATRIOTS.com’s Andy Hart noted Gronkowski yesterday morning at a Foxboro-based Dunkin' Donuts, Gronkowski was “on the other side of the window serving up customers as part of his new ad campaign” (PATRIOTS.com, 3/27). Gronkowski said, “It was a blast out there. I got to see all the employees. I’m always going through this drive-through, like twice a week, every time I’m around town, and now I get to meet them all after them serving me all the time" (BOSTON.com, 3/27).
