Churchill Downs Inc. Exec VP/Technology Initiatives and TwinSpires.com President ROHIT THUKRAL resigned his positions on March 19 “to pursue other opportunities.” Thukral joined CDI in Dec. ’06. CDI VP/Racing Communications JOHN ASHER said that the “resignation was amicable” (Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL, 3/23)….Sportsman Channel Dir of Business Development GRAIG HALE was promoted to VP/Business Development (CABLEFAX DAILY, 3/23)….Brazil’s MARCO POLO DEL NERO has been “selected to FIFA’s executive committee as the replacement for RICARDO TEIXEIRA.” Polo del Nero is also the Sao Paulo State Soccer Federation President (AP, 3/22).
