IMG College named Trail Blazers VP/Corporate Partnerships TOM FLETCHER Regional VP for the West, making him one of five region leaders. The West is a key area for IMG, which owns multimedia rights to 10 schools and the Rose Bowl. Fletcher will be supported by Associate Regional VP PETER PILLING, and a VP/Regional Sales to be named. Additionally, IMG College has promoted CATHY WEEDEN to Associate Regional VP for the Southeast, with a focus on the Florida schools -- Florida, Florida State, South Florida, Central Florida, Miami -- as well as Southern Miss. Weeden formerly managed UF’s Gator Sports Marketing (Michael Smith, SportsBusiness Journal).

EXECS: Former Brazilian Football Confederation President RICARDO TEIXEIRA has “resigned from the FIFA Executive Committee.” Teixeira had served as a member of the committee since ’94 (AFP, 3/20)….St. Cloud State Univ. named Drake Univ. Associate AD and Senior Woman Administrator HEATHER WEEMS AD, effective July 1 (St. Cloud State)….College of Charleston men’s basketball coach BOBBY CREMINS is stepping down.
