NASCAR announced that NASCAR Media Group President PAUL BROOKS is leaving the company, effective May 4, to focus on a variety of personal and outside business interests. Brooks, who also has the title of NASCAR Senior VP, has been with the sanctioning body for 19 years and will continue as a senior adviser. Brooks joined NASCAR in '93 and assumed day-to-day responsibilities for the organization's Charlotte offices in September '07 (NASCAR).

AT THE PEACOCK: NBCUniversal promoted SETH WINTER to NBC Sports Group Exec VP/Sales Marketing after having served as Senior VP/Sales Marketing since '06. Winter will report to NBCU Network Ad Sales President MARIANNE GAMBELLI. In his new position, he will continue to oversee sales and marketing strategy for many of the Sports Group's assets, including NBC Sports & Olympics, Golf Channel, NBC Sports Network and related digital assets. He joined NBC in '00 (NBCU).

EXECS: Circuit of The Americas named Churchill Downs VP/Operations DAVID SWEAZY VP/Operations. The track also named PAUL THORNTON Dir of Events & Entertainment and ERIC LOVE Dir of Travel Services (Circuit of The Americas)....Octane Motorsports Events named IKE JANACEK GM for the Izod IndyCar Series Edmonton Indy (EDMONTON SUN, 3/13)....Salvi Sports Enterprises named KPMG Corporate Tax Attorney BETH HEFFERNAN VP & General Counsel (Salvi).
