SI Cover Girl Kate Upton Give Tips To All-Stars In Latest "MLB 2K12" Ad

2K Sports Monday released its "second commercial installment" for "MLB 2K12," this one featuring model and SI Swimsuit Issue cover girl Kate Upton and several All-Stars, according to James Schmehl of MLIVE.com. Upton in the ad gives Rays P David Price "pointers on how to throw a circle changeup," which is "necessary to pitch a perfect game." Upton then offers Price "hand-over-hand instructions on how to 'master the pitching.'" The commercial also features Tigers P Justin Verlander, Angels P C.J. Wilson and Reds RF Jay Bruce. The ad continues 2K Sports' promo in which the eight finalists who "submit a perfect game will be ranked and be asked to compete in a live New York tournament for the $1 million prize." The contest begins on Opening Day, April 4. The game is set to be released March 6 (MLIVE.com, 2/14). YAHOO SPORTS' Kevin Kaduk wrote the spot is "pretty much the sexiest baseball video game commercial ever filmed." Kaduk: "Perhaps even needlessly so" (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 2/14).
