In N.Y., Bart Hubbuch wrote the Broncos' comeback win against the Bears Sunday sent QB Tim Tebow’s “growing legion of fans into hysterics.” The NFL "reported 'unprecedented demand' for Tebow replica jerseys on its online store, so much so that his No. 15 Broncos duds are now on a two-week back order” (N.Y. POST, 12/13). Meanwhile, in Denver, Jeremy Meyer noted Colorado-based Bonfire Brewing -- “looking to cash in on the Tim Tebow craze whipping around the Centennial State -- just introduced a new beverage called ‘Tebrew: The Sunday Sipper.’” The brewery said that “if asked, it would donate 10 percent of all sales to the Tim Tebow Foundation.” The company said that they “brewed only 150 gallons, specifically for the Vail Big Beers Festival in January.” Bonfire Brewery Co-Founder & Manager Andy Jessen: “It was never intended to go into distribution. It’s really about the uniqueness of the year and the time of year to celebrate football” (DENVERPOST.com, 12/14).

FUNNY OR DIE: TBS last night aired the special “Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2011,” which listed the funniest ads of the year. This year’s crop of Super Bowl ads were featured prominently in the listing of the year’s funniest ads, including two Doritos ads, the Best Buy spot featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Justin Bieber and the Coca-Cola spot where border guards share a Coke. There also were two NASCAR-themed ads, the first one where fans boost their surround sound at their house to make it feel more like being at the track and the other was from Toyota Racing where a fan spends the day with his favorite driver, Kyle Busch, getting tattoos from Darrell Waltrip along the way ("Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2011," TBS, 12/14).

STAND BY YOUR MAN
: Limelite Fusion Drink President T.J. Utschig, whose company counts Brewers LF Ryan Braun as an investor, yesterday said that he “had received a text” from Braun that said, “I'm good man. Appreciate the support. Trust me, its all BS.” Utschig said that “he stood by Braun.” The NL MVP “has an equity interest in the drink” and the company “also has an advertising sign inside Miller Park” (JSONLINE.com, 12/14).

IN THE WHITE ROOM: In N.Y., Rima Suqi notes Target this month will introduce Gold Medal-winning snowboarder Shaun White’s “latest creative endeavor: the Shaun White home collection, a line of bedding, lighting and home accessories inspired by skating, snowboarding, travel, music and art.” On the design of the line, which he and his brother Jesse worked on, White said, “We took the opposite direction of doing crazy and fun prints and stuck with colors that represent us or stood out or were best sellers from the clothing line” (N.Y. TIMES, 12/15).
