SLIGHTLY IMPRESSED: In Baltimore, David Zurawik writes he “expected one of the worst Ravens' broadcasts of the year” yesterday with CBS’ Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf calling the game. But “fair is fair, and Dierorf and Gumbel did OK.” Zurawik: “I wouldn't go so far as to say they did just fine -- Dierdorf still fills the airwaves with way too much phony bluster. … But he was a lot less annoying Sunday because the team he liked best was the Ravens” (Baltimore SUN, 10/17).
