NFL Promotes Senior VP & Treasurer Joe Siclare To CFO

The NFL has promoted JOE SICLARE to CFO, a league source said. The news was announced internally within the league in recent weeks. Siclare designed the widely-heralded financial structure in the new CBA in which revenues are divided into three buckets: local, media, and NFL Ventures. The revenues at each stop are divided differently with the players. Players get 55% of media money, but 47% of NFL Ventures and only 40% of local revenues, considered the most high cost. That structure appeared to break the logjam between players and owners. Siclare’s title has been Senior VP & Treasurer. The CFO title had been vacant since last year when ANTHONY NOTO departed for Goldman Sachs, though Siclare had assumed many of the responsibilities already.
