POST, 9/21)....Richard Childress Racing promoted Technical Dir KENT DAY to Dir of Competition on an interim basis. The move was made after Dir of Competition SCOTT MILLER left to join Michael Waltrip Racing (AP, 9/20)....The L.A. Sports & Entertainment Commission appointed Westfield Property Group U.S. Senior Exec VP GARY WILLIAMS to its BOD. Also, Westfield Senior VP/U.S. Development LARRY GREEN will serve on LASEC's Advisory Board (LASEC)....YES Network promoted MIKE WEBB to Senior Dir of Broadcast Operations (YES)....Centerplate named GARY PRELL VP/Culinary Development (Centerplate)....SI.com's DARREN ELIOT will serve as Dir of Programming & Communications for Michigan-based Suburban Sports Group.
