The Single-A California League San Jose Giants have named MLB Giants Senior VP & CIO BILL SCHLOUGH interim team president. Schlough replaces JIM WEYERMANN, who resigned in July. Schlough will stay at the helm of the minor-league club until a permanent replacement is found. He told THE DAILY he intends to "guide the franchise for the short term, foster improved integration of business practices between the two clubs, and identify a long-term successor." Schlough also said he will maintain his position with the MLB Giants while with the minor league team. Schlough: "In other words, I won't be getting much sleep this offseason" (Austin Karp, THE DAILY).

EXECS: The Marketing Arm has hired Universal Studios Partnerships VP STEPHANIE COHEN as VP/Business Development for its Davie Brown Entertainment practice (The Marketing Arm)….Easton-Bell Sports has appointed Aquila Group CEO DAVID PERDUE and former Nike VP/Brand Management MICHAEL WILSKEY to its BOD (Easton-Bell Sports).
