Fox Sports Southwest Airing Friday Block Of Texas Prep Football Programming

FS Southwest is launching a weekly six-hour block of high school sports programming Friday. The Friday night block, "High School Football Friday" will feature games, highlights and RedZone-style programming for games around the state. The RSN each week will travel to one of the games and telecast live from outside the stadium. The TV programming will be complemented by an online effort that will stream 12 high school games in Houston and Austin on FoxSportsHouston.com and FoxSportsSouthwest.com. Fox Sports is making its announcement just four days after the NCAA prohibited school and conference networks, like Longhorn Network, from carrying high school games or highlights.
