Poll: 70% Of Sports Executives Say They Do Not Tweet

Seventy percent of sports execs say they do not tweet, while 21% of those who say they do tweet do so only 1-10 times per week, according to data from a Turnkey Sports Poll taken in July. Sports execs also feel that athletes benefit more from utilizing social media platforms than others involved in the industry. Forty-one percent of execs said players/athletes stand to benefit the most from use of social media, compared to 23% saying teams and 17% saying sports writers. Execs were also asked what/who they follow on social media platforms. Forty percent of execs said they did not follow anyone, while 39% said they follow teams (THE DAILY).
