EPL club Liverpool Friday announced that GRAHAM BARTLETT, Nike's Sports Marketing Dir for the U.K. and Ireland, will be the club's new Commercial Dir. Bartlett will join Liverpool in September, reporting directly to Managing Dir IAN AYRE. In his six years with Nike, Bartlett has been "responsible for all of the company’s individual athlete, club and federation sponsorships across all sports" in his territory (LIVERPOOLECHO.co.uk, 7/22).This marks "one of the most senior appointments made by Liverpool" since the takeover by JOHN HENRY and New England Sports Ventures last fall (SKY.com, 7/21).

EXECS: Coca-Cola has promoted Chief Sustainability Officer BEA PEREZ to VP. Perez, formerly Coca-Cola's CMO, assumed her current role on July 1 (Coca-Cola)....K.C.-based law firm Husch Blackwell has hired attorney PAUL JACOBS and 23 other attorneys from his Denver-based Jacobs Chase firm. Jacobs was "one of the driving forces behind" Denver's successful bid for an MLB expansion team, and ultimately served as Rockies Exec VP & General Counsel from '91-95 (AMLAWDAILY.com, 7/21)....Hampton Univ. has hired KEISHA CAMPBELL as its first female AD (Hampton Roads DAILY PRESS, 7/21)....The Atlantic 10 Conference has hired Morehead State Univ. Dir of Athletic Media Relations DREW DICKERSON as Dir of Media Relations & Communications (A-10).
