Moore To Add: Lynx' Maya Moore Tops The List Of WNBA's Most Popular Jerseys

Lynx F Maya Moore’s No. 23 jersey was the most popular WNBA jersey based on sales at WNBAStore.com from October ’10 through June ’11. Moore, the top pick in the '11 WNBA Draft this past April, has the second best-selling jersey for a No. 1 pick since Sparks F Candace Parker. Parker had held the top ranking since Oct. ’08. Moore’s popularity also propelled the Lynx to the No. 1 spot among most popular team merchandise. Moore having the top-selling jersey comes after she became in May the first female basketball athlete to sign a sponsorship deal with Nike’s Jordan Brand (THE DAILY).
