Time Warner Cable Hires Longtime News Corp Execs Mike Angus, Jen Chun

Time Warner Cable hired two longtime News Corp execs to work in its programming department. The cable operator hired MIKE ANGUS in May to be Senior VP/Content Acquisition, reporting to Exec VP & Chief Programming Officer MELINDA WITMER. Angus had worked at News Corp for more than a decade, in roles ranging from a Senior VP at Fox Cable Networks to Exec VP of Fox Interactive Media and MySpace. Most recently, Angus was an Exec VP at News Corp Digital Media. Time Warner Cable also hired JEN CHUN as a Group VP/Content Acquisition. It is believed that Chun will report to Angus. Chun also had been with News Corp for more than a decade, in jobs ranging from Fox Cable Networks' Senior VP/Business & Legal Affairs to Fox Interactive Media's Senior VP/Business & Legal Affairs. Most recently, Chun was Senior VP/Business & Legal Affairs for News Corp Digital Media. Both executives will be based in N.Y.
