It marks the highest-rated non-Finals NBA Playoff telecast since the net earned a 7.1 overnight for Lakers-Spurs Western Conference Semifinals Game Five in '04. The game is up 48.9% from a 4.7 overnight for the comparable Jazz-Lakers Western Conference Semifinal Game One last year. ABC yesterday also earned a 4.1 overnight for Grizzlies-Thunder Game One, up 51.9% from the comparable Hawks-Bucks First Round Game Seven last year. NBC began its second-round NHL Stanley Cup Playoff telecasts this past weekend. Bruins-Flyers Eastern Conference Semifinal Game One on Saturday earned a 1.5 overnight, down slightly from the same matchup last year. Yesterday's Red Wings-Sharks Game Two earned a 1.6 overnight, flat compared to Canadiens-Penguins Game Two last year.
