NLL Regular-Season Attendance Up 1.7%; Buffalo Again Leads League

National Lacrosse League clubs averaged 9,722 fans per game during the '11 regular season, up 1.7% from last year. The league played with 10 teams this season after the Orlando Titans ceased operations following the '10 campaign, marking the smallest number of teams since '05. The Buffalo Bandits led the league in average attendance for the third straight season with 17,096 fans per game at HSBC Center, up 3%. The Toronto Rock saw the league's biggest gain, up 9.1% at Air Canada Centre. Listed below is an NLL attendance trend since the league expanded to a 16-game schedule per team. Also listed is team-by-team attendance for the '11 regular season, with comparisons to '10 (THE DAILY).
