NHL Hires Veteran Producer Ivan Gottesfeld As VP/Broadcasting

The NHL has hired veteran sports producer IVAN GOTTESFELD as VP/Broadcasting, reporting to Exec VP/Content CHARLES COPLIN. Gottesfeld will manage the NHL’s game presentation department as well as the broadcast department, which oversees the partnerships with national and regional rights holders. He comes to the NHL with more than 25 years of experience in broadcast. He has worked with NBC, NBA Entertainment, ABC, CBS, TBS/TNT and Fox. Most recently, Gottesfeld was an Exec Producer of remote productions for Tupelo Honey Productions. Gottesfeld joins a quickly expanding broadcast team at the NHL. Exec Producer MARK PREISLER joined the NHL Network in January, just weeks after the league hired DAVID PROPER as Exec VP/Media Strategies & Distribution. The league in September hired Coplin and brought on BOB CHESTERMAN as VP/Programming.
