NHL Attendance Flat Through March 16; Blackhawks Home Games At 108.4% Capacity

NHL teams are averaging 17,039 fans per game to date, flat compared to the same time period last year. The Blackhawks lead all clubs with 21,374 fans per game while packing United Center to 108.4% capacity. The Predators and Avalanche are seeing the best growth among Western Conference clubs (+8%), despite the fact that both clubs would miss the playoffs if the season ended today. The Stars and Blue Jackets are taking heavy hits at the gate, both seeing a double-digit percentage drop. Listed below is team-by-team attendance for the NHL Western Conference through March 16, with comparisons to the same period last year.
