Garden Of Earthly Delights: ESPN's Big East Men's Tourney Audience Up 11%

The Big East men's basketball tournament averaged 1.461 million viewers (1.0 U.S. rating) for 13 telecasts across ESPN and ESPN2 this year, up 10.8% from 1.318 million viewers last year (0.9 rating). The tournament final between UConn and Louisville on Saturday night averaged 3.291 million viewers on ESPN, marking the net's most-viewed college basketball telecast of the season. The figure also is up 14.6% from the West Virginia-Georgetown final last year (THE DAILY).
