Several NBA Stars Lend Their Voices To Fox' "The Cleveland Show"

Several NBA players lent their voices to last night's episode of Fox' "The Cleveland Show," which featured the title character receiving two free courtside tickets to the NBA All-Star Game in L.A. At the event, Cleveland said, "I love NBA games! It's the only place where you can get drunk on light beer and yell at millionaire giants. Watch: Hey, Dork Nowitzki!" The Mavericks  forward, Dirk, hears Cleveland and asks Heat G DWYANE WADE, "English is not my first language. What is this 'dork?'" Wade: "Uh, it means 'handsome.'" Later in the game, Cleveland is surrounded by several empty beer cups and he yells, "Hey, KEVIN GARNETT! Smooth move going straight to the NBA instead of going to college! Good luck getting into grad school, chump!" After the game, Suns G STEVE NASH said, "I know we won, but it's hard to enjoy it after that guy called me 'Steve Trash.'" Magic C DWIGHT HOWARD: "He called me 'Dwight Coward.' I know because I thought he said my name, but when I waved to him -- as I do whenever anyone says my name -- he enunciated it more clearly, and this time I realized I'd been insulted." Heat F LEBRON JAMES: "You know what? I'm gonna banish that guy to Jerk Island. ... It's just a place in my mind where I send unkind people." Garnett: "He insulted my mother." The NBA players then traveled to Cleveland's home in Stoolbend, Va., to "set Cleveland Brown straight." Confronted by the stars, Cleveland said, "Please don't hurt me. I didn't mean what I said at the game. I had eaten six pounds of medicinal peanut brittle!" Wade said, "We don't want to hurt you, Cleveland." Celtics C SHAQUILLE O'NEAL added, "Neither the NBA nor its affiliates condones violence as the solution to any problem." After the players and Cleveland made amends, Cleveland's stepson Rallo said, "See, LeBron James does care about Cleveland" ("The Cleveland Show," Fox, 2/13).
