ESPN averaged a 9.1 U.S. rating and 14.657 million viewers for its 17 "MNF" telecasts this season, marking the net's highest-rated and most-viewed "MNF" season since it began airing the series in '06. "MNF" was the most-viewed series on cable TV in '10 and drew the top 12 most-viewed cable telecasts. For the five seasons that ESPN has aired "MNF," the net has registered nine of the top 10 largest cable TV audiences ever among viewers, including five from this past season. Compared to last season's record-setting TV numbers, "MNF was up 1.1% in ratings and 1.9% in viewers. "MNF" also ranked No. 2 during the NFL season among all regularly-scheduled all primetime programs among adults 18-49 (THE DAILY).

STRONG FINISH: The Saints-Falcons "MNF" finale earned an 11.2 U.S. rating and 19.137 million viewers, marking the most-viewed "MNF" game this season and third-largest cable TV audience ever, excluding breaking news. "MNF" led all telecasts -- broadcast and cable -- among viewers and all key male and adult demos, giving ESPN the win for the night among all nets. This marks the fifth time that "MNF" has won the night among broadcast and cable viewers. Compared to the Vikings-Bears "MNF" finale last season, Saints-Falcons is up 7.7% in ratings and 12.5% in viewership (THE DAILY).
