The N.Y. POST's Page Six reports a photographer was "thrown out" of Friday's Heat-Knicks game for "filming in an unauthorized area too close to" MSG Exec Chair JAMES DOLAN. The photographer was "focusing his video camera on Dolan's front-row seats under the basket and ordered out by security." But a source said, "The irony was, the photographer was filming 'The Office' star CRAIG ROBINSON, who was in the seat next to Dolan" (N.Y. POST, 12/22).

Sharpe's Workout Routines Have Rubbed Off
On Fellow CBS NFL Analyst Boomer Esiason

STAYING SHARPE: The WALL STREET JOURNAL's Jen Murphy featured CBS NFL analyst SHANNON SHARPE for the paper's "What's Your Workout" feature. While his "days as a professional athlete have ended, Mr. Sharpe's commitment to fitness has never waned." Sharpe "exercises at least four days a week," and his "discipline has rubbed off on some of the other former NFL players turned commentators" on CBS' "The NFL Today." Sharpe said of CBS analyst DAN MARINO, "Dan tells me he'd like to be in better shape but that it takes too much work to do what I do." He added CBS studio host JAMES BROWN "has gotten better about his fitness," while analyst BOOMER ESIASON "has lost about 20 pounds in one month" (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 12/21).

NAMES: UFC President DANA WHITE and fighters RYAN BADER, JUNIOR DOS SANTOS, VITOR BELFORT, STEPHAN BONNAR and JON JONES are "featured in Playboy's January issue in the 'Stand Tough' fashion pictorial." They are "modeling looks from Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger, among others" (ESPN.com, 12/21)....Lakers F RON ARTEST is being featured in a PSA to "promote mental health awareness." Artest "donated $50,000 to Pacific Clinics and said the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health donated another $150,000 to the clinic in grant money." Artest added that he will have "charity events in different cities, one of which will be Detroit" (L.A. TIMES, 12/22)....Ten-year-old JACKIE EVANCHO will sing the national anthem before the Jan. 1 Capitals-Penguins NHL Winter Classic at Heinz Field, while Canadian singer-songwriter STEVEN PAGE will sing the Canadian anthem before the game. Hinder "will perform before the outdoor game and another rock band, The Clarks, will play during the first intermission" (CP, 12/21)....Several blogs are reporting that Dreamworks has "acquired the rights to the book 'SHUNT: THE STORY OF JAMES HUNT' by author TOM RUBYTHON and is planning to take the 1976 F1 world champion's story to the big screen" (ESPNF1.com, 12/21)....The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce has named cyclist and Livestrong Founder LANCE ARMSTRONG as the ’10 Austinite of the Year. Armstrong will “receive the honor at the chamber’s annual meeting on Feb. 9” (AUSTIN AMERICAN-STATESMAN, 12/21)....Newly appointed Canada Sen. LARRY SMITH, former President of the CFL Montreal Alouettes, said that he “will seek the Conservative nomination in a longtime Liberal stronghold in Montreal” (CP, 12/21).
