ARCH SUPPORT: Blues telecasts are averaging a 3.5 local rating in St. Louis this season, up 54% from a 2.3 rating at the same point last season. The Blues rank fourth in local ratings among U.S. teams (Blues). In St. Louis, Dan Caesar notes the gains follow the Cardinals "pulling their best rating ever" on FS Midwest this season and the Rams "currently generating their best local TV figures in seven years" (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 12/10).

ANTICIPATED REMATCH: Sun Sports averaged a 7.5 local rating in Miami for Wednesday's Heat-Jazz game, marking the net's highest-rated Heat regular-season game ever. The previous record of 7.2 was set by the Nov. 9 Jazz-Heat game. Heat-Jazz also marked the net's highest-rated Heat game since the '97 playoffs. Heat ratings are up 95% on Sun Sports this season (Sun Sports).
