Nike promoted U.S. Dir of Footwear Merchandising KEITH HOULEMARD to Jordan Brand President, replacing GARRY COOK, who had been in the position since January (Nike).

ESPN: Minneapolis Star-Tribune Sports Editor GLEN CREVIER, in a memo, said Star-Tribune football writer KEVIN SEIFERT will leave the paper to cover the NFL's NFC North division for ESPN.com, effective May 23. Seifert since '00 has been the Vikings' beat writer for the Star-Tribune (MINNPOST.com, 5/14).

FRANCHISES: The Grizzlies have promoted VP/Finance GREG CAMPBELL to President of Business Operations, filling the void left by ANDY DOLICH, who in December left to become 49ers COO. Campbell previously had been responsible for the financial reporting of the Grizzlies (Memphis COMMERCIAL APPEAL, 5/15)....The Packers hired PHILIP CALDWELL to the newly created position of Box Office Manager for the team's ticketing operations and TOM FANNING as a Staff Writer in the Packers' PR department. The team also promoted SUE ZERNICKE to Ticket Office Coordinator (Packers)....The Blue Jays hired GLENN JACKSON as a consumer sales rep (Game Face).

EXECS: Dreier LLP has formed an affiliated sports marketing and consulting firm, Dreier Sports Opportunities Group LLC, to complement its sports law practice. DON GIBSON will serve as COO of the new firm. Previously, Gibson was General Counsel & Senior VP/Acting President for MLBP and COO of the Naismith Memorial Basketball HOF (Dreier)....Iowa State Univ. (ISU) promoted Assistant AD MARY PINK to Associate AD for Marketing, becoming the fourth Associate AD in the athletic department (ISU)....Salomon USA named former Volkl Performance Wear Division Manager NORA STOWELL Apparel Manager (Salomon).
