YOUR STORIES: USOC Associate Dir of NGB Business Development GUILLERMO ROJAS finished his second N.Y. Marathon with a time of 3:00:07. LANCE ARMSTRONG “passed me with 5k to go, the guy is a machine,” he wrote....NASCAR Partnership Marketing Senior Account Manager CHRIS MARCIANI finished in 3:24 and raised $3,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training....IMG Consulting Account Exec KATE JOHNSON, an ’04 Olympic Rowing Silver Medalist, completed her first marathon ever in 3:48:29 and raised $1,856 for JOHANN OLAV KOSS’ Right To Play. Johnson was “reassured when I read Lance Armstrong’s comments on the race because despite the hundreds of thousands of hours of training I’ve done in my life, this was the hardest single physical challenge ever.” She hopes to qualify for the Boston Marathon....MARC BLUMENCRANZ, a Principal in the Corporate Services Group at BWD Group completed his second N.Y. Marathon with a time of 3:51. Blumencranz ran to support the Achilles Track Club, a charity which supports disabled individuals....NASCAR Industry Marketing Senior Account Manager JIM TUCKER finished in 3:58 and raised over $12,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training....Jets VP/PR RON COLANGELO used the team’s bye weekend to run the N.Y. Marathon, finishing in 4:24:40.
