Former Madison Square Garden/Radio City Entertainment President SETH ABRAHAM has formed Starship SA. Abraham said that the new company will “focus on turning his plans for sports and entertainment ventures into business with major companies” (N.Y. TIMES, 4/27)....The Nationals yesterday reached an agreement with GM JIM BOWDEN “that will all but certainly keep Bowden in his position through the end of this season” (WASHINGTON POST, 4/28)....The USTA named KARLA GRAY-MAYERS Diversity Coordinator, based at the organization’s White Plains, New York, HQs (TENNIS WEEK, 4/26)....TOM KINDER JR. will take over as PA announcer at Bengals home games for his late father, TOM KINDER, who passed away April 10 after serving as the Bengals’ PA announcer for the team’s entire 37-season history. Kinder Jr. will be assisted by his brother, BOB KINDER (Bengals).

BY COMMITTEE: The Gridiron Stadium Network (GSN) elected an executive board, naming Qwest Field Dir of Facility Sales & Marketing STEVE ECKERSON Chair, Bills Exec Dir of Business Development KAREN MARSCH Vice Chair, FedEx Field’s TODD BOYAN Secretary and Steelers Dir of Stadium Management JIM SACCO Treasurer. Former Clear Channel Entertainment Music Senior VP PAMELA FALLON will oversee the day-to-day operations and communications. TOM ROONEY will continue as a Consultant (GSN).
