The following presents ‘04 ad revenue and ad pages for selected sports magazines compared with ‘03. Sports Illustrated led all sports titles in ‘04 with over $700M in ad revenue, up 13% from the year earlier period. ESPN The Magazine ranked second with ad revenue of $252M, up 17.7% from ‘03. Runners World was the most improved, increasing ad revenue by 43.2% in ‘04 (Publishers Information Bureau).
