The following chart presents market-by-market Nielsen ratings for each race in the '04 Visa Triple Crown, including the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. Louisville, KY averaged a 27.0/49 rating for the three races, the highest of any market. Baltimore (19.0/38) was second-highest and Philadelphia (19.0/35) third. The markets listed are the designated market areas, ranked by number of TV households (Nielsen).
