NATIONAL TV MONITOR: Last night's 10:30pm ET 90-minute edition of ESPN's "SportsCenter" (late due to Cincinnati-Louisville NCAA football) led with Lakers-Celtics, followed by Bruins-Red Wings and A's P Barry Zito winning the AL Cy Young. Last night's edition of ESPN's "Around The Horn" led with which sport's head coach is the most important, followed by Lakers G Kobe Bryant's willingness to play in the '04 Olympics and who will be the best int'l player in the NBA. Last night's edition of ESPN's "PTI" led with the Univ. of MI imposing sanctions against itself because of an alleged scandal, followed by Zito and the Dolphins contacting Fox NFL analyst Troy Aikman about a comeback. ESPN NBA analyst Bill Walton was the guest for the show's "Five Good Minutes" segment. Last night's edition of FSN's "BDSSP" led with a roundtable discussion on Vikings WR Randy Moss' comments to a local sports reporter, followed by a "Sports Update" report on Zito and the Flyers having the NHL's best record of 9-2-2-0.

REGIONAL TV MONITOR: Last night's edition of FSN's "Southwest Sports Report" led with Aikman, followed by a report on the Texans and high school football coach G.A. Moore on the verge of becoming the state of TX' all-time winningest high school football coach. Last night's edition of Sunshine Network's "NEXTEL Florida Sports News" led with an injury update on Magic G Darrell Armstrong, followed by Panthers-Capitals and a preview of tomorrow's Univ. of Miami-Univ. of TN college football game.

ON THE AIR: Winston Cup driver Jeff Gordon will be on "The Wayne Brady Show." AEG & Kings President Tim Leiweke will be on FSN West's "Paperboys" at 6:30pm PT. The show will re-air on FSN West 2 at 10:30pm PT. Boxer Oscar De La Hoya, Cowboys WR Joey Galloway, Winston Cup driver Kurt Busch, U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and talk show host Jerry Springer are scheduled to appear on FSN's "BDSSP." WNBA Storm G Sue Bird and CBS' "The NFL Today" analyst Deion Sanders will be on MSG's "The Boomer Esiason Show" at 11:00pm ET. BET's "Maad Sports" Saturday will feature Clippers F Elton Brand at 12:00pm ET. BET's "Maad Sports Countdown" Saturday will feature Heat C Alonzo Mourning's favorite videos at 12:30pm ET. Fox' "NFL Under the Helmet" Saturday will feature 49ers QB Jeff Garcia, Steelers LB Lee Flowers, Cardinals LB Ronald McKinnon and Lions head coach Marty Mornhinweg. Nets C Dikembe Mutombo will be on MSG's "The Tim McCarver Show" Sunday at 8:30pm ET.
