WUSA's Season-Opener Draws Low Ratings

WUSA's April 13 season-opening CyberRays-Breakers game on PAX earned a 0.095/ (81,000 HHs) Nielsen rating, making it "the least-watched nationally-televised sports event" the week of April 8-14, according to SOCCERTV.com. The WUSA match, the first televised on PAX, drew less viewers than the Wal-Mart FLW Fishing Tour on the net the same weekend, which got a 1.2. Last season's WUSA opener on TNT registered a 0.5 cable rating (SOCCERTV.com, 4/24).
