CHARITY: Bengals RB COREY DILLON yesterday announced the formation of the COREY DILLON FOUNDATION. Dillon, who wears No. 28, started the foundation with $28,000 of his own money. The foundation benefits Cincinnati's inner-city children (CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, 3/8)....The TIGER WOODS FOUNDATION's six local clinics have been "disbanded and will be replaced by one national clinic, to be held" at Walt Disney World, probably in June (GOLFWEEK.com, 3/6)....Pirates Managing General Partner KEVIN MCCLATCHY will run the May 5th UPMC Pittsburgh Marathon to raise money for lung cancer research (Pittsburgh TRIBUNE-REVIEW, 3/8).

NAMES: "Pro Football Insider" Publisher FRED EDELSTEIN yesterday was indicted on check kiting charges. Edelstein was already facing federal wire fraud charges before being charged with processing 66 checks worth $394,500 from May '00-October '01 (AP, 3/7)....JEFF GORDON was an in-studio guest on TNT's NBA halftime show yesterday. Gordon, on not being well-liked among several NASCAR fans: "I think there's some people that boo Michael Jordan when he comes to town and beats their team. ...
