The MLB Cardinals have signed President MARK LAMPING to a three-year contract extension through '03. Lamping joined the team as President in '94 (Cardinals)....Millsport named JOHN TARKAS as GM of its Millsport Athens office. Tarkas will direct all new business and sponsorship activities and will serve as Millsport's liaison on a daily basis (Millsport)....The AHL Panthers named GINO GIACUMBO as VP/Operations. Giacumbo spent the past two seasons with the UHL Mallards, most recently as GM (Panthers)....The IBA named AL LORENZEN as Exec Dir. Lorenzen will continue as Event Dir for FutureStars basketball (IBA)....Host Communications named TIM CLINE as Exec VP of its TX-based Streetball Partners Int'l. Cline will succeed TAD BROWN, who is resigning. Brown will continue to serve as a consultant to Streetball (Host)....The PBA named former WNBA Communications Dir BETH MARSHALL as National Dir of Communications and former Pyramid Sports exec MARK BISBING as National Dir of Regional Tours (A.B.
