Naming Rights Talks Resume In Denver; Suites Nearly Sold Out

The Metropolitan Football Stadium District in CO has resumed negotiations with CO-based Invesco Funds Group for the naming rights to Broncos new stadium, according to Steve Caulk of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS. Sources said that the talks have been "informal" and that "no deal is imminent." One report said that one name being considered is "Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium" (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 12/29).

HOW SUITE IT IS: Also in Denver, Cindy Brovsky reported that the Broncos unveiled the first completed luxury suite at the new stadium. Initially, the stadium was to have 106 suites, but that number increased to 124 as interest was "high." Only 11 of the 124 suites remain unsold. The $80,000-125,000 annual price includes tickets to Broncos preseason and regular season games, but not the cost of any other events at the stadium (DENVER POST, 12/29).
